Businesses take twists and unexpected turns. But are they really all that unexpected? In today’s conversation, Sam and I talk about how you can proactively plan for the crises, you know, are going to occur at some point.

If you are a smart business owner, you know life, the economy, mother nature or some other force will throw a curve ball at your business.  While you don’t know exactly what is coming, you can have a plan in place which will allow you to jump into  action. And with respect to your marketing, that plan might include stock images, pre-written blog posts and newsletters.

KEY TAKEAWAY:  Start with a content calendar and anticipate the storms you know will come your way.

Although not technically born in Indiana (Michigan) Sam bleeds cream and crimson. With a degree in Sports Communication from Indiana University, it’s no surprise his favorite basketball teams are the Hoosiers, Colts, Pacers and really any Indiana team that isn’t Purdue.

His official duties at The Peg are writing, strategizing and helping clients meet their goals. As our residents sports guy, he keeps the rest of us up-to-date on Indiana athletics. Outside of his time at little white house, Sam can be found trying local craft beer, tasting new foods and of course watching sports.
