Social media: Twitter, Facebook and Linked each can each play  a role in letting people know you have new content.   However, each tool will be more effective, if you play to the strengths of the individual media.

  • Facebook is about pictures – As you pull content to Facebook, make sure you bring a photo with the post
  • Twitter is about headlines – Use the 140 characters to tease readers.  Give them a taste of what they will find, so they want to click the link to find more.
  • LinkedIn doesn’t need to change as often, so be sure to select your best content.
